CHOMP is building the next social game platform that reveals what people really think and believe, rather than the public narrative pushed by current social media algorithms. Under the hood, we’ve created new mechanics that transform bias and perception into more accurate reflections of reality.

We design gamified experiences where people share their beliefs, predict what others think, and get rewarded. They feel like games, but operate as a new kind of social network — part quiz, part opinion platform, part cultural mirror.
Our platform cuts through noise, surfaces hidden beliefs, and reflects not what today’s algorithms feed us, but what we really think. So far, we have raised over $3.5Million to build towards this mission.
Now we’re looking for a best-in-class product designer to join our lean team of 3, and co-create one of our next experiences together.
How might we design a new way for people to share what they think — one that feels like play, spreads like culture, and rewards participation? That’s the design challenge at the heart of this role, and it’s one we’re excited to tackle with you.
We’re looking for a Founding Product Designer with a unique combination of skill-sets, someone who is deeply curious, analytical, and observant about human behavior, while at the same time holds a high bar for visual craft.
The initial contract will run for 8–12 weeks, focused on bringing the new version of CHOMP from concept to production-ready design. We’ll start with research and user journey mapping, and move all the way through to a full set of hi-fi designs ready for engineering handoff.
We do things differently at CHOMP, we dislike unpaid take-home design exercises that are proliferating across the industry. Instead, we work together for 8-12 weeks in a paid contract capacity. At the end of that, we review and determine whether we are the right fit to work together long term.
